Language and region

ClodDoc documentation, the public website and the application are available in Russian and English. Language changes interface labels and messages; it does not translate your files, organization names or entered data.

On your first visit, the country of your IP address determines the initial language. Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan use Russian; other countries use English. If the country is unknown, the server uses English. If the lookup service itself cannot be reached, the application uses your browser language as a fallback.

A VPN, company network or mobile provider may appear to be in another country. This does not restrict your access: you can always choose a language yourself.

  • Documentation: use the language selector in the header, or inside the menu on a smaller screen. Choose Русский or English to open the matching version of the current article.
  • Public website: use the language selector in the header.
  • Application: use the language selector on the sign-in screen or in the workspace.

Your explicit choice takes priority over automatic selection and is saved in the browser. The main domain and its subdomains share this preference. You may need to choose again in another browser, in a private window or after clearing browser data.

Use /ru/ or /en/ in the documentation, or /landing/ru/ or /landing/en/ on the website, to open a specific language directly. Sharing a language-specific link does not change the recipient’s application permissions.

English does not convert rubles into another currency. Number formatting changes; the amount does not. Financial dates and times retain the accounting rules of the operational workspace. Where Moscow time applies, changing language does not change that time zone.

Country lookup runs on our server against a local database. Your IP address is not sent to a third-party geolocation service for each visit. Country information only selects the initial language; it does not assign roles or permissions.

Country data: IP Geolocation by DB-IP. DB-IP Lite is provided under CC BY 4.0. The data is converted into a local country lookup index.
