Imports and rejected rows
Imports shows source update history and rows that could not be accepted. Check rejections as well as the run status: an applied import can still contain errors in individual rows.
Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”A source must be connected, with Google Sheets access configured for your company. An Operations Administrator can start imports. A View can inspect history and rejections.
Run an import
Section titled “Run an import”- Open Operations → Imports. The page heading is Import runs.
- Select Start import.
- Wait for the result and find the Run #… entry.
- Check the source, time, status, and accepted row count compared with the total.
- Open the run and inspect Rejected rows, even when the import was applied.
- Check balances and review queues for the affected data.
Understand run statuses
Section titled “Understand run statuses”| Filter label | Run code | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Applied | applied |
A new snapshot was applied. Individual rows may have been rejected. |
| No changes | no_change |
The contents match the last applied snapshot. |
| Failed | failed |
The import was not successfully applied. |
| Structure changed | blocked_structure |
Current sheets or columns differ from the accepted structure. |
Use the Status filter to find relevant runs. For a long list, use Back and Next.
Changing source turnover can change calculated balances. After correcting the spreadsheet, verify the result rather than relying only on a successful status.
Fix rejected rows
Section titled “Fix rejected rows”- Select the relevant run.
- In the rejection panel, find the sheet, row number, reason, and original values.
- Open that row in the Google spreadsheet.
- Correct its data.
- Return to ClodDoc and run a new import.
- Check the new run’s rejections.
| Rejection | What to check |
|---|---|
| Date could not be parsed | Use a Google Sheets date or a supported format such as 19.10.2026. |
| Merchant is empty for a nonzero amount | Enter the corresponding merchant. |
| The merchant column contains a legal entity | Check the name and column order. Put the full legal entity in its own column. |
| Amount could not be parsed | Replace the value with a number or a valid decimal string. |
An earlier run’s rejections remain part of its result. A spreadsheet correction is checked in a new run, not by editing the old history entry.
Handle a changed structure
Section titled “Handle a changed structure”For blocked_structure, review added, deleted, or renamed sheets and columns first. If the change is intentional, open Source, accept the current structure, and run the import again. See how to confirm a structure change.
If the response is missing
Section titled “If the response is missing”If the interface says Result not confirmed, select Retry the same run. The retry uses the saved key for the current request. Do not create a different intent until the outcome is clear.
When History unavailable appears, Retry only reloads the history; it does not automatically start an import. For access errors, check the source and company integration settings.
Automatic import timing depends on service configuration. The import card on Today refreshes its status once a minute. This does not mean a new import runs every minute.
